Breaking NHL news: After taking a knee to the head, Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has been placed on injured reserve.

Fleury was placed on IR Sunday, according to Vegas general manager George McPhee. Fleury was injured in Friday’s loss to the Detroit Red Wings.

The 32-year-old net minder had been off to a hot start, leading the upstart franchise to a 3-0 start.
