Kyle Palmieri injuries right foot

Breaking NHL news: Palmieri to miss 4-6 weeks

Breaking NHL news: The New Jersey Devils announced Kyle Palmieri will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a right foot injury. Palmieri missed six games earlier this season with a left foot injury.

According to the team, he will continue to work out off the ice, and will be evaluated by medical staff during that time.

The 26-year-old right wing broke his foot blocking a shot in Monday’s victory over the Minnesota Wild. The injury happened as Palmieri blocked a shot by Matt Dumba.

Palmieri has four goals and five assists in 13 games this season.

The Devils host the Boston Bruins tonight at Prudential Center.
